I’m new to Now Now. What should I expect?
Hello! We’re excited to open your world to a totally new hotel experience. Our cozy sleeper cabins—think European train car meets Japanese capsule hotel—are specifically designed for comfort for the solo traveler. Custom Wright mattresses, luxury linens, Brooklinen bathrobes, sleep kits, and a thoughtful rental catalog of lifestyle technology await you. Just bring yourself, a curious mind, and an adventurous spirit! Now Now NoHo is the perfect gateway to experience New York City and embrace the present in the here and Now Now.
How big are the sleeper cabins?
Our cabins range from 27 sq ft (2.5 sq m) to 57 sq ft (5.3 sq m). Each cabin has a 74 inch long single bed (6’2”), with storage space underneath and above, a desk and a vanity mirror, plus a locking door. Ceilings are partially open to allow air flow and shared bathrooms with lockable showers and toilets are down the hall.
Tell me more about the open ceilings…
Our cabins do not have traditional ceilings but do have full-length specially designed linear acoustic baffles that cover them. Think really big slats with 3 inch spaces between them. You couldn’t fit anything larger than a shoe through.
OK, but what about sound and light?
This definitely isn’t a silent retreat. But each cabin comes with a sound machine and a personal sleep kit that contains a sleep mask and ear plugs for your night-time comfort. Every bed also has a shade you can draw, and we offer noise-canceling headphones to rent. It will be a lot quieter than a hostel, but not like a fully enclosed hotel room.
What is a “shared, but private bathroom”?
Now Now sleeper cabins do not have ensuite bathrooms, but our shared bathrooms are just down the hall. They include an open bank of sinks plus individually lockable toilet and shower cabins. Throw on your plush Brooklinen bathrobe and enjoy an amazing shower experience complete with our Grown Alchemist bath products.
Is there any in-room entertainment?
That’s up to you! There are no TVs in our cabins, but we do offer an array of technology rentals like Apple iPads, Therabody SmartGoggles and Theraguns, Solawave red-light therapy masks, Nintendo Game Boys, Fuiji Instax cameras, Soundcore Bluetooth headphones, and Meta Quest virtual realty goggles for you to enjoy. We do ask everyone to use headphones per our House Rules to diminish noise for other guests.
How can I meet other guests?
Start with the guest lounge! You’ll find our Connections Board, where travelers can leave notes, make plans, and find other folks with similar interests, plus a coffee and tea station, curated lifestyle vending machine, and stand-up desks for meeting people IRL. Now Now also hosts a calendar of events both on-site and at neighboring businesses for guests to meet and mingle. Think yoga and wellness classes, happy hours, coffee cuppings, and more.
Is there a gym?
While we don’t have a gym on property, there are a number of amazing workout facilities in the area including Crunch Fitness, Barry’s Bootcamp and Soul Cycle, NoHo. Our activities calendar just might feature some fitness offerings during your stay.
Can I store my luggage?
Absolutely. We offer luggage storage lockers just below the lobby on the lower level of the building. Each cabin also has smaller storage spaces underneath and above the beds.
Do you offer hair dryers?
Our lower level bathroom is equipped with Dyson Supersonic hairdryers available to all guests. This floor has no sleeper cabins, so the sound won’t disturb others.
What does a Women+ floor mean?
Our Women+ designated floor of guest cabins and bathrooms is intended for women, non-binary, and gender non-conforming travelers who might feel more comfortable staying among women. The entire wing requires key card access.
